Breathing New Life into the Little White Church

The Little White Church in Stony Plain has always held a special place in our community. Over the past few weeks, the Old Hope Society has been busy making this historic space ready for generations to come.

Community Support in Action

We hosted three Garage Sales and BBQs, raising funds to support ongoing restoration projects. The response from the community was incredible — volunteers, donors, and attendees all came together to show their love for this historic building. Every contribution is helping us preserve a piece of Stony Plain’s history.

Recent Restoration Milestones

Some major projects were completed recently, including:

• Pews restored to their original charm

• Original cross reinstalled above the altar

• Entryway flooring refinished, welcoming visitors with a warm, polished entrance

These updates mark important steps toward bringing the church back to life, ready to host community events and private celebrations.

Looking Ahead

Next week, the restoration continues with:

• A deep clean of the church

• Waxing the floors to protect and shine the wood

• And we’re beyond excited to host our first wedding on July 5th!
